What are your lead times when ordering lights?
If we have to special order a lighting fixture because it is not in stock, lead times are generally four to six weeks. This also depends on the manufacturer the fixture is being ordered from. Some manufacturers can ship as quick as two to three weeks while others can take close to two months. It is best to ask your sales person about the particular product you are purchasing.
Any estimated arrival times given for products are estimates. Many factors out of Carrington Lighting's control can cause products to arrive later than expected. We will do our best to ensure delays are minimized. We are not responsible for any costs related to delayed product.
What is your return policy?
Carrington Lighting excepts returns on all in-stock light fixtures within seven days, provided products is in original packaging and in original condition. Lighting fixtures that have been installed and/or have wires cut are non-returnable. There is a minimum of 25% restocking charge on items returned after seven days and unfortunately, there are no returns on special ordered items.
Do you sell lamp shades?
Carrington Lighting does not sell lamp shades separately. Lamp shades shown with the lamp are generally the only one and cannot be changed out for another shade. Lamp shades are sold separately through Glazier Electric who has a large assortment of both softback and hardback shades.
Do you sell electrical parts?
Carrington Lighting is not licensed to sell electrical parts such as sockets, wiring, etc. However, Glazier Electric carries a large inventory of replacement parts. They also repair and restore all types of lighting fixtures from table lamps to chandeliers and everything in between.
Do you rewire fixtures?
Carrington Lighting is not licensed to rewire fixtures. However, Glazier Electric can solve any issues of insufficient wire or chain. All their work is done to CSA standards and can be certified for an extra fee.
Do you sell specialty light bulbs?
Carrington Lighting carries a wide variety of bulbs including incandescent, halogen, and compact florescent bulbs. If you are replacing a bulb from one of your fixtures, it is recommended to bring the burned out bulb in as there are many varieties of bulbs. If you no longer have the bulb, there should be a label beside the socket with information about the bulb type (ex. A19, G9), the wattage (ex. 40W, 75W) and the voltage (ex. 12V, 120V). Please bring this information with you so that we can provide you with the exact bulb that you need.
Do you sell florescent tubes?
Carrington Lighting sells a limited quantity of florescent tubes. If we do not have them in stock, we can order them in within a couple of weeks. For in-stock specialty bulbs, HD Supply is an excellent source.
